Lazy Man’s Spring Roll Recipe

I have been making my own rendition of a lazy man’s spring roll for years. Feel free to add more of one ingredient if you would like. This recipe is easy and very lenient. I hope you all enjoy and don’t forget to send me photos or let me know once you have made it!

Lazy Man’s Spring Roll Recipe

  • 1 ½ Cup Bagged Coleslaw Mix
  • 1 Cup Rice
  • 2 Tbsp Onion Diced
  • 3 Tbsp Red Pepper Diced
  • 1 Garlic Clove Minced
  • 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Oil (this can be olive oil, avocado oil, etc)
  • ¼ Cup Cooked Meat (This can be chicken, ground beef, etc.) (Optional)
  • Chives for Garnish (Optional)


  • In a small pot over medium heat sauté Oil, Garlic, Onion, Coleslaw Mix, and Red Pepper for 10 minutes or until the vegetables have softened.
  • Add Rice, Sesame Oil, Rice Vinegar, Soy Sauce, and Sesame Seeds to your vegetable mixture. Cook for 2 Minutes.
  • Plate and garnish with Chives if you would like.
